The local pubs are both within easy level walking distance, as is the railway station for the famous Cambrian Coast Line, so you can even forget about using the car if you wish.

This area of Wales has many tourist attractions: the castles of Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon, slate and copper mines, narrow gauge railways, Portmeirion village and Bodnant Gardens to mention a few.
